( Service Area — Snohomish County )

General contractorin Mukilteo.

Mukilteo is bluffs, water views and Boeing-era neighborhoods. We remodel with the slope and the weather in mind — because on this side of the county, both are always part of the job.

Building in Mukilteo's housing stock

Two distinct Mukilteos. The older neighborhoods near the ferry and along the bluff hold 1950s–70s homes on lots that fall away toward the water — modest houses in extraordinary positions, where the whole remodel usually revolves around capturing a view the original floor plan ignored. Harbour Pointe, developed from the 1980s onward, is newer stock on planned streets with the aged-out finishes typical of that era.

Slope defines construction here. Additions, decks and detached structures on bluff-side lots need real engineering, deeper foundations and careful drainage — and drainage on a slope in this climate is not a detail, it is the whole project. We price those conditions honestly up front rather than discovering them mid-build.

What we build in Mukilteo

Kitchen and main-floor remodels that turn a house toward its view, primary-suite conversions, and decks — Mukilteo's positions practically demand outdoor space, and covered decks earn their cost in a climate like ours. Siding replacement is frequent on the exposed bluff-facing homes for the same reasons it is in Edmonds.

Permits run through City of Mukilteo Planning & Community Development. We are ten minutes away in Everett, which means estimates fast and easy mid-project check-ins.

Mukilteo questions, answered

Can you build on a sloped Mukilteo lot?
Yes — bluff and hillside work is routine for us. It requires engineered foundations, careful drainage design and sometimes retaining structures, all of which we scope and price before the project starts rather than treating as surprises.
Do you build decks with water views?
Frequently — it is one of the most common Mukilteo requests. Height and slope drive the structural cost, and we generally recommend covering at least part of the deck so the space is usable most of the year rather than just in August.
What does a kitchen remodel cost in Mukilteo?
Most full kitchen remodels here run $50,000–$150,000+ depending on layout changes and finishes. View-driven projects that involve removing a wall or enlarging windows sit toward the upper end because of the structural work involved.
