- How much does a general contractor charge in the Seattle area?
- It depends entirely on the project — our written estimates are itemized and free. For orientation, our published guides cover real 2026 ranges: kitchens typically $50k–$150k+, bathrooms $25k–$80k+, additions $250–$450 per square foot, ADUs $100k–$400k+, and basements $60–$120 per square foot.
- Do you handle permits, or do I?
- We do — permit preparation, filing and inspections are part of every ENF job that needs them, whether that's Seattle's SDCI, Bellevue Development Services or City of Everett Permit Services. You never deal with the permit counter yourself.
- Are you licensed, bonded and insured?
- Yes — ENF is a licensed, bonded and insured Washington general contractor, and we're happy to provide documentation with any estimate. Owner Eduard runs every job personally.
- Do you build decks and outdoor living spaces?
- Yes — composite and cedar decks, covered patios, pergolas and outdoor kitchens across Everett, Seattle and the Eastside. In this climate a covered outdoor space earns its keep ten months a year, and we build them to the same permitted, engineered standard as everything else.
- Do you do garage conversions?
- Yes — both simple living-space conversions and full garage-to-ADU conversions with kitchen, bath and separate entrance. Washington's new ADU rules removed most parking-replacement requirements, which has made conversions one of our fastest-growing project types.
