Kitchenremodeling.
The kitchen is the room that decides how a house lives. We rebuild them across Greater Seattle — from a cabinet-and-counter refresh to taking the wall out and starting over.

What a kitchen remodel with ENF includes
Every kitchen we build is run by Eduard personally: design and layout, cabinetry, countertops, tile, lighting, electrical and plumbing, appliances, flooring and finish carpentry — one contract, one accountable builder, one crew in your house.
That includes the parts homeowners rarely see quoted. Permits filed and inspections met. Electrical brought up to code while the walls are open. Old plumbing replaced rather than reconnected. In the 1905–1990 housing stock we work in, those are the details that separate a kitchen that looks new from one that is new.

The moves that change how a kitchen works
Opening the wall to the dining or living room is the single highest-impact change available in most Seattle-area houses — it turns a closed work room into the center of the home. Cabinetry to the ceiling adds a full shelf of storage and makes the room read taller. Deep drawers instead of lower cabinets mean you can actually reach what you own.
We will tell you honestly which of these your kitchen needs and which it does not. A layout that already works does not need to be moved; a galley that fights you every morning does.

Kitchen Remodeling questions
- How much does a kitchen remodel cost in the Seattle area?
- Most full kitchen remodels land between $50,000 and $150,000+, with refreshes starting around $25,000 and custom, layout-changing projects running higher. Cabinetry is typically a third to half of the budget. Your written estimate is free and itemized.
- How long does a kitchen remodel take?
- Plan on 6–12 weeks of construction for most kitchens once materials are on site, plus design and permitting beforehand. We do not open a wall until the cabinets and tile are in the garage — that single rule prevents most schedule slips.
- Can you remove the wall between my kitchen and living room?
- Usually yes. If it is load-bearing it needs an engineered beam, posts carrying down to foundation, and a permit — commonly $5,000–$15,000 in a single-story house, included in your estimate rather than discovered later.
- Do I need a permit to remodel my kitchen?
- If you are only replacing finishes in place, usually no. Moving plumbing, adding circuits, removing a wall or changing ventilation all require permits — which we prepare, file and see through inspection as part of the job.
